Your first Seoul consultation, step by step
A clinic consultation often involves several conversations, from reception to the doctor and back to a coordinator. Knowing each person’s role helps you keep your own questions in view.

The short version
Keep in mind
- Before leaving, confirm the after-hours contact and the language available.
- Allow enough time for each appointment; ask the clinic how long its consultation usually takes.
Arrive with your essentials
Confirm the consultation fee, arrival time, required identification and language arrangements when booking. Bring your medical summary and a short question list. The clinic may request photographs or scans. Check permission in advance if an interpreter or companion will join you.
Use the doctor’s time well
Tell the coordinator your goals and limits, then discuss medical recommendations with the clinician. Ask who performs the procedure, why the approach suits you, what its risks and limitations are, and how anaesthesia, downtime and follow-up would work.
You can decline extra procedures and ask for an explanation you understand. SAC can help prepare questions and arrange interpretation or accompaniment within the agreed scope.
Leave with something to compare
Request an itemized written estimate covering treatment, anaesthesia, facilities, medication and follow-up. Confirm its validity, deposit and cancellation terms. If visiting another clinic, use the same history and questions so differences are easier to discuss.
