Seoul Aesthetic Concierge · Visit guide

Two of you, one clear plan.

Many visitors bring someone: a partner, a friend, a parent. A companion is reassuring, but a companion is not an interpreter, a decision-maker or a coordinator, and clinics have their own rules about who may be where. Planning for two makes the visit easier for both of you.

What a companion can and cannot do

Support, not substitution.

What helps

A second pair of ears in the consultation, company in the waiting room, help with bags and transport, and someone who knows your plan if you are tired afterwards.

What a companion should not carry

Interpreting consent, estimates or aftercare instructions. Even a fluent friend is not neutral and may not know clinical terms. Decisions and consent remain yours.

What clinics decide

Whether a companion may join the consultation, wait inside, or be present in treatment areas. Rules vary by clinic and by room, and they are worth asking about in advance.

Planning for two

The practical side of company.

  • Ask the clinic in advance where a companion may be during consultation and treatment, and for how long.
  • Plan the companion's time during longer appointments: a place to wait, a nearby cafe, a clear pick-up point.
  • Choose accommodation that works for both of you, including the days when one of you is resting.
  • Agree beforehand who holds documents, payment and instructions, so nothing depends on a tired person's memory.
  • If your companion does not speak English or Korean, ask us how communication will work for them too.
Companion and coordinator

Let the companion be a companion.

With a coordinator handling appointments, interpretation, notes and follow-up, a companion can do what they came to do: be there. Nobody has to be the organiser, the interpreter and the support at the same time.

Useful answers

Questions before you contact us.

Can my companion join the consultation?

Most clinics allow a companion in the consultation room; treatment and procedure areas are often restricted. We confirm the clinic's policy when we book.

Can my companion interpret for me?

Informally, yes, but for consent, estimates and aftercare we recommend independent interpretation. A companion is rarely neutral and may not know the terms.

Does coordination cover my companion's costs?

Coordination is quoted for your case. A companion's travel, accommodation and meals are their own. We can plan their time around your appointments as part of the schedule.

Can you help my companion while I am in treatment?

Within the agreed scope, yes: where to wait, when to return, how to reach us. Clinical updates come from the clinic, and only with your permission.
