Seoul Aesthetic Concierge · Visit guide

Lasers and skin treatments, planned as a visit.

Seoul's dermatology clinics treat pigmentation, pores, acne and acne scars, redness and texture with a wide range of lasers and devices. The clinician chooses the device and settings; the visitor needs to understand downtime, sun rules and how a course fits a short stay. This guide covers that planning side.

Concerns and categories

What clinics typically discuss.

Pigment and tone

Sun spots, melasma and uneven tone are commonly discussed with toning or pigment lasers and sometimes topical care. Downtime is often described as minimal, with strict sun avoidance.

Pores, texture and scars

Enlarged pores, rough texture and acne scars are discussed with resurfacing or fractional treatments, which carry more downtime and often a course of sessions.

Redness and acne

Redness, visible vessels and active acne are discussed with vascular lasers, light treatments and medical care. The clinician decides what is appropriate and in what order.

Device names vary between clinics and are less useful to you than the clinician's explanation of what is proposed, why, and what downtime and results to expect.

Planning around downtime and sun

The calendar decides which treatments fit.

  • Ask for the downtime of each proposed treatment: redness, peeling, darkening of spots before they fade, or none.
  • Ask how long to avoid sun and what protection is expected; this shapes sightseeing and departure.
  • Ask whether treatments can be done on consecutive days or need spacing.
  • Ask how a course continues if sessions exceed your stay, and whether the clinic can advise a provider at home.
Reading the estimate

Device, area, sessions, aftercare.

Laser treatments are quoted per session, per area or per course, often with numbing, post-treatment care and products as separate lines. Ask for each, for the number of sessions proposed and for course terms if you prepay.

Useful answers

Questions before you contact us.

Which laser is best for pigmentation?

That is a clinical decision based on your skin type and the pigment involved. Ask the clinician what they propose, why, and what downtime and sun rules apply.

Can I have a laser treatment and fly the next day?

It depends on the treatment. Ask the clinic before scheduling and build a buffer where downtime is expected.

How many sessions will I need?

Many treatments are planned as a course. Ask how many, how far apart, and how the course continues if it exceeds your stay.

What affects the cost of laser treatments in Seoul?

Device, area, sessions, numbing, aftercare and course terms. Ask for a written estimate with each line.
